Save TikTok photo posts the way you actually need them

TikTok photo carousels are awkward to keep. Screenshotting loses quality and adds interface clutter, and screen recording turns a set of stills into a shaky video. This tool takes the post apart properly: paste the link and every image appears in a gallery at the size TikTok serves it, ready to select and download.

There are three ways out. Download single images for a moodboard or reference. Tick the ZIP option to get the whole carousel in one archive. Or use the slideshow render to rebuild the post as an MP4 — each photo held on screen in sequence, with the original TikTok sound laid underneath, which is what you want when the destination is another video platform.

🗂️ Pick exactly what you want

Every image gets a checkbox, with select-all when you want the full set. Nothing downloads until you choose.

🗜️ One-click ZIP export

Long carousels come down as a single archive instead of a dozen separate files fighting your browser’s download prompt.

🎬 Render back into a video

The render stitches your images into an MP4 with the post’s own audio — each photo scaled and padded so mixed aspect ratios still fit cleanly.

How to download a TikTok slideshow

  1. Copy the photo post link. Open the slideshow on TikTok, tap Share and choose Copy link.
  2. Paste and process. Drop the URL into the field above and press Process URL. The gallery opens automatically for photo posts.
  3. Select your images. Tick individual photos or use select-all, and switch on the ZIP option if you want them bundled.
  4. Download or render. Save the images, or press the slideshow render to build an MP4 with the original sound — that takes roughly half a minute.

How the slideshow-to-video render works

The render runs server-side with FFmpeg. Your selected images are placed in order, each held on screen for a few seconds, and scaled then padded onto a consistent canvas so a portrait photo next to a landscape one does not stretch or crop badly. If the post has audio, that track is laid underneath and the clip ends cleanly when the shorter of the two runs out.

Expect it to take about 15 to 60 seconds depending on how many photos you selected — it is doing real video encoding, not a browser trick. The result is a normal MP4 you can upload anywhere or edit further.

Who this is for

Designers and marketers pulling reference material into a moodboard. Creators archiving their own photo posts before an account change. Anyone repurposing a carousel for a platform that prefers video over stills. And people who simply want the picture at full size instead of a cropped screenshot.

If the post you are saving is a normal video rather than a photo set, use the TikTok video downloader instead — same field, different result card.

Limits worth knowing

Only public posts can be processed; private, deleted and region-locked carousels never expose their images. Photos come back at the resolution TikTok stores, which is already compressed compared with the creator’s original file. And the same courtesy applies as with video: saving someone’s photo set for personal reference is ordinary, republishing it as your own is not.

Slideshow downloader FAQ

Yes. Use select-all in the gallery, then either download the images individually or tick the ZIP option to get the whole carousel in one archive.
